My bias aside (I am an Army Veteran, myself), I liked the intro and the intro vocals. It is fitting and somber.
Main lyrics and instumentals - also fitting. It gives me the same feeling I had on the first time I left American soil. It's somber as all hell. It ain't the same as leaving home for the first time. It is deeper than that.
You learn from that moment that you are about to leave for real that there are no Rambos, but men and women that set out to fulfill their rites as America's first and last line of defense.
This is a proper homage, in that the message is "time on target" (no pun), and the effort put into this, lyrically, instrumentally, producer/engineering is pretty tight.
Also, this has a very Bone Thugs N' Harmony feel to it. Very Nice.
Im'a go 10 on this one.
Please provide the instrumentals.
I'll play this ceremonial song. Great message
